Do you have too many clothes but nothing to wear?

It’s frustrating, isn’t it? I’ve been there many, many times before. The hours spent trawling the Internet for something, ANYTHING to wear that makes you feel good.

Except it doesn’t, You wear it once, then your fashion purchases are quickly relegated to the back of the wardrobe, or swiftly donated to charity. And then the buy – wear once – discard cycle starts all over again as you desperately seek something to wear for the next occasion.

I want to help you get off the fast fashion treadmill of MORE MORE MORE, and instead hone a look that is uniquely YOU, using a selection of curated pieces you’ll want to wear again and again.

I’m a big advocate of outfit repeating, but with a twist. Let me help you sort through your wardrobe to uncover the hidden gems you already own, and provide fresh ideas on how to wear them.

I current offer wardrobe consultations in Edinburgh (within EH postcodes). An online styling experience via Zoom can be arranged if you’re outside this area, or want added flexibility for your session.

Alice looks confident and happy wearing a bright yellow and teal outfit

I used to be a fast fashion addict, spending £100s every month on clothes I didn't love.

I found myself despairing at the vast quantity of clothes I had owned – and then discarded – within that time with precious little to show for it.

I had mountains of garments bulging from every drawer and cupboard, but I still felt like I had nothing to wear most days.

I realised I was done hoarding clothes that didn’t work with my style.

I was fed up buying clothes I only liked, rather than loved.

And I was totally over being stuck in a cycle of having no money, yet piles of rubbish clothes.

It took a lot of un-learning to recover from my fashion overconsumption, let me tell you! The consumerism trap is real.

But after a year spent studying for a diploma in fashion styling, working in a hands-on role for an ethical fashion brand, and really honing my personal style, I’m finally in a place where I genuinely love each and every one of the garments that have earned a place in my wardrobe – and I always have something to wear.

Colourful, orange toned shirts are used to show how to hang clothes properly

We throw away £12.5bn worth of clothes each year. That's madness!

Now more than ever it’s essential that we shop better, and shop less. Not only is the sheer volume of clothes we are producing suffocating the planet, but fast fashion practices are abusing the human rights of garment workers all over the world.

Ethical fashion is a huge buzzword right now, and we all want to make better choices. But how can you tell if something is really ethical? What about sustainable? And where can you actually find conscious choices that suit your style and budget?

I believe it’s totally possible to be stylish and sustainable. After all, you need to love the clothes you’re wearing if you’re going to make a positive change.  I can guide you to the colours that will make your look ‘pop’, the silhouettes that will enhance your natural assets, and show you simple style tweaks to make every outfit instantly look pulled together.

By honing your wardrobe not only will you minimise your environmental impact, but you’ll ultimately save time and money, and build your confidence in the process. Sounds good, no?!

Whatever your style or your budget, I promise I can help you craft the wardrobe you’ve always dreamed of. Let’s do this!

Here's what my clients have to say...

No more worry of what goes with what and which colour will be a regret-free choice! Alice knows what to wear, how to wear it and oozes confidence through her appearance, and yet working with her is not a “DO’s and DON’Ts according to Alice”. It is about guiding you through the colours and garments to help you feel your most comfortable and confident.
